Jake Hedleston, Insurance Sales Specialist

Jake joined Harpeth Insurance Group in 2026 and helps clients with home, auto and business coverage. He brings the same approach he learned in the military: understand the mission, pay attention to the details, and follow through.

Jake served six years in the Air National Guard as a loadmaster. He planned and loaded aircraft carrying humanitarian supplies to communities at home and around the world. In that job, a load has to be calculated precisely, balanced correctly and secured properly every time, and he brings that same care to reviewing a client’s coverage.

Jake is completing his degree in business administration and management at the University of Memphis, where he made the Dean’s List in spring 2026. He earlier earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Northwest Mississippi Community College.

 

His studies focus on how businesses run, which helps him understand the risks his commercial clients face.

 

Before insurance, Jake worked his way up in busy restaurant kitchens, starting as a dishwasher and being promoted to chef. He learned to stay calm and keep customers taken care of during the rush.
